Then you click on Create Your Broadcast. You will add a title and select the channel you wish to connect to. (In this case, it’s your YouTube Channel.) You should also fill in the description and set it to public to stream to as many people as possible.

If you schedule it for later, more people will see it and should be able to access it more easily.

At this point, you can upload your thumbnail image as well. It will show up on all of the social media platforms that you schedule this to be on.

You can further refine this by going straight into YouTube Studio and click on Content. Go to LIVE and click on View in Live Control Room.

While in the Studio area now, make sure to let them know if the material is made for kids or not and if you wish to monetize the video.

In this area, you can double-check to see that the title and the description is correct.

You can also put in any links, show notes, and any other pertinent information that you want your audience to have access to.

You will be able to create a link that you can share with your audience beforehand on all of your social media. This will maximize your reach. You can remind them that they can access the live on multiple devices.
